:wavey: Hi ifred2000, The Nileshop is a great place to get an oud but I would contact Yehia directly and inquire about a Shehata oud. Not all of the Shehata ouds are expensive. You could get one made out of walnut for I belive a very good price. Trust me when I say it's better to spend the extra money on a quality instrument. Email me if you have anymore questions:airguitar:

David,
About how much are his shehata ouds? I bought my first oud from nile shop. Thanks.

:bounce:The ouds vary in price depending on what type of wood and extras you want on it. If you already purchased an oud from the Nle Shop then I suggest talking to Yehia about prices.
Good luck:bounce:

I had one similar to this and I would strongly suggest spending a little extra and getting a Shehata oud. His entry level ouds are really good and then you have something substantial that is structurally solid and that sounds and plays well. It will also have good resale value and will probably appreciate over time. Yehia at the Nile Shop is honest and good to deal with.

Cheers,
Roy
