I have a collectors quality Tamboor made by a renowned Ostad at least 20years old. The person I got it from had it made from the master luthier. I
play Tar and Setar and started learning the
percussive melodies of the Tamboor style. Now I need to sell several of my instruments including a Persian Barbat, a student level Tar, and a Ghadban
Oud. This instrument is absolutely beautiful aesthetically, the old wood grains and textures are a delight to see and touch. Carved from a single
solid piece of Mulberry wood, the bowl is very light and highly resonant. You can feel it vibrate as you play. You will not easily find another
Tamboor of this quality and lineage. I am asking $1250 + S/H OBO which is a great deal , just because I need to the money have to move and can't take
all my instruments.
