Well as a fellow UK udi I take great pleasure in seeing the progress you are making, (that goes for all of you anyway, especially those who have been
playing a few years and came onto this forum as beginners.)
You have a nice way of playing, very strong and romantic !! so the Bach, it seems to me, suits this way of playing and (I know the piece) there is a
slight melancholy to this that brings out the plaintive, emotional cadences, slightly gypsy like and a little fiery in your hands.
Bach is often considered cool and ordered but IMHO so regularly makes those turns of music that just makes me weak at the knees that this coolness
must be an illusion caused by blocked ears and hearts - the order isn't that of logic but deeper.
My advice would be to carry this through and keep exploring it, I think you are making some really good musical connections here. You could also lean
towards different makams, Nahawand would be one that springs to mind with its somewhat oblique dynamic.
Well done, nice tremolo developing there, and although you said the sound quality isn't great, that Ghadban of yours is obvously a corker.

Regarding the way of playing: whenever you try to do similar approach such as taking a melody and playing around my suggestion is to put everything
into a structure. E.g, in your video the original theme is not clearly played, you should at least do the main theme clearly once and then you do your
impro. The impro should be in a way the notes you are playing appear clear with no hesitation.
I know you were fooling around 
but I am sure you can do much much better when
you put into a specific structure what you want to play.

Mathew: the hesitation issue is a general matter that happens when we are not sure what to play, it doesn't only happen with you. Regarding the self-conscious problem you mentioned, try to record several times, do
as many videos you can. By doing that you might forget about the camera and your playing becomes natural.
