Do you know who made Roman Bunka's oud? It seems close to the "Nahat copy oud" that were proposed here on the forum by Dr Atef during a few
days....
Roman's oud has more crafts on the soundboard and the neck, but the sound is the same, with a natural great sustain.

Roman is a fine player, lyrical, inventive and I sometimes feel he is under rated. Maybe because he is from the West. There is an outstanding Nahawand
on G on his cd "Color me Cairo" not to mention his playing and contribution to the oud world in the film documentary, "Al oud". C

Essam El Wazery, from Cairo, is the maker of the oud . In fact maker who build the Nahat copy ouds proposed by Dr Atef and Abdelaal Hassanin a few
month ago.
I got the information by Roman who like this instrument....
