It's been a while since I posted any video... so here's a status update....

Nassam Alayna

After hearing some of the other videos I've posted since I started, I'm pretty happy with the progress... But any advice is certainly appreciated.

Hi Chris

Nice playing. Really.

Intonation seems pretty accurate to me (I find somehow that innaccuracies in kurd can be particularly obvious) and you're getting a really really nice sound out of that Sukar. I like the way you use the first section as a slower intro before you crank it up. It's meant to be strongly rhythmical and played at a fair clip as far as I understand, so you could work on getting it more regular and faster. Then you could try a bit more ornamentation - one suggestion: a fairly frequent pedal on the low A can be quite effective in emphasising the rhythm (assuming you're playing this in kurd on A).

Well done Chris, things are really moving for you, terrific progress that comes from love and dedication and of course, practice. Best, Charlie.

What a progress Chris!!!
The time of your first video seems to be very far.
I like this song, I didn't know it untill now.
I would like to get the sheet, if someone has a copy.
Thanks....
Go on playing like this, Chris.
Francis.
