hello ammar22- also have a look at Moussa ouds, up north in UK. the members in this forum who have bought one of his ouds have nothing but praise for
them. try a search on moussa ouds.

Hi Ammar22
Yes I would recommend Michael Moussa Ouds. He may have some for sale soon . He is away at he moment but email him ad he will respond. Have a look at
UK summer meeting thread. you can see him in action with some of his ouds. He is working in Barnsley quite close to Leeds. Please email or u2u for me
and I'll post some pictures and sound clips.

They are both Fathi Amin ouds in mint condition,
the one on the left has a mother of pearl design and has a slightly smaller bowl than the one on the right.
Also, it has a extra piece of wood that runs from the nut to the sound hole, this is an extra that is made for protection for the soundboard from
finger/string scratches when playing the oud and it also makes the oud stronger as it also holds the bowl to the neck. (you can tell it has this as it
doesn't have a line where the neck meets the bowl, look at the picture to see the difference)
The one on the right is celebrating its 14th birthday soon and has been stored in its case since it was i got it.
The left one has 17 ribs and the right one has 15 ribs.
Im not sure what type of wood they are made from.
I want to sell one of them as im still learning how to play, and i dont really need two ouds (yet), when i like something a usually have two of
them.
They both have pyramid strings on it (strings 1 to 5), but the 6th string is a cheap one.
