Hello all. In addition to my trip to Israel/Palestine, I will be visiting Amman for 5 days. I have been invited to attend an international
conference on the role of "Music and Peace". Would like some recommendations on where to go to hear music...where to shop. Is there an old city
there with a souk? I have been to Jordan once but only to Petra. Any thoughts will be most helpful. I feel so blessed to be a musician, a true
messenger of God. We are truly the ones that speak the univeral language than can bridge cultural barriers and rise above politics and policy.
Nothing has helped me understand and bond with the Arab experience more than getting into and playing this incredible music.

Yes, as a matter of fact, I am picking up an oud from him in Amman. He won't tell me his name!
