Hi there!

anyone has or knows where on the web I can find free music sheets of songs by Sabah Fakhri?

I'm especially looking for "Seebouni ya nas"...:airguitar:

and the one with "heti kas erra7 wasqini al aqda7..." :applause:

Thanks!

Ok, since it doesn't look like anyone has a suggestion of where to find Sabah Fakhri sheets, here's a related question:

I've just come across this book: "Arabic Music and Songbook" by Joseph Fakhoury

(which also apparently contains the sheets I'm looking for)

available here:
http://www.maqam.com/store/p/20-Arabic-Music-Songbook.html

does any here happen to have this book? recommend it? happen to have some PDF ?

Here's the only review of the book I found so far:

http://www.shira.net/music/musicbooks/arabic-music-and-songbook.htm

any positive/negative experience of buying oud and/or arabic music related material from the maqam website?

(next posts will be more specifically oud related, promise!)

thanks...

Hi Jamloun :) (Nice name :P)

I don't know the book.. but I surfed through the site and the book's table of content.

Look.. if all you want is one music sheet, then it's not worth it. Even if it may all be beneficial to you, I still find it expensive. But that's up to you.

From the samples, it looks like the music sheets aren't top notch, but good enough. You may find many of the music sheets online.

And why don't you try to play the song by ear?

Thanks Reda for the advice and Karim for the link!
Perfect. I now got the sheet and turned it into a pdf, which I'm attaching here for anyone interested and, possibly, for the experts to tell us how innacurate/accurate this transcription actually is.
