Hello,
My friends and myself we would like to create a small ensemble of non-professionals, is anybody able to hold the riq/daff or violin, intermediate
level of skill is good enough.
Or anyone know anyone who might be interested.
The aim is exploring new music all the time and maybe throwing a couple of performances. ( this is not for playing for cash in cheesy resturants with
belly dancers).

Oh yeah, also is anyone aware if there are similar forms such as this one for violinists (eastern ones perhaps)? Its been a nightmare trying to find
people for such a project

Fadi...I was talking to Reda...tzakkaret shi...fi ma3had on Sauve and acadie...ma3had for arabic music learning. This is the best place to find
amateurs musicians. I am not sure if the institut still exist
Alternatively, you can go to Lorida, anatir, sultaan, and ask the musicians there. They might lead you to other musicians
