This is just inform the oud community about a great person who died few days ago (6th august).
Aram Tigran, born in Qamishli in Syrian Jazirah in 1939, was a great singer and cumbus player. He will be remembered for being a great human and for
the cause of the minorities in the Near East. Peace and fraternity between the people of the ottoman empire through music, language and culture. He
knew zazagi, arabic, kurdish and armenian.
He is to be buried in Amed (Diarbakir).

Anyone bringing together divided people are special, Kurds and Armenians were often hard to distinguish where the groups merged (as is so often the
case) and extreme times created wedges to undermine this ease ... it's true also with Turkish and Azeri etc.
