i can show you Mr.Palabiyik electric oud , if you want to buy a professional oud ,you should choose good makers.
you can download the catalogues.
I think a lot of people here are into high end (acoustic) ouds, and that's what they know/like. These "skeleton" ouds sure do not appeal to me, they
are like a cardboard cutout. But I guess if you play heavily amplified day in day out, you need a very specialized instrument, not just a good oud
with a mic. Sorry, can't help on that model. Christian1095 - 10-9-2009 at 08:54 AM
I've owned a Sukar electric oud in the past... It did the job, though in order to get it "just right" you need to put some reverb on the sound and it
helps if you play hard. The price on the oud above looks a bit steep though... for $1000 I think you can do better.... especially since they're not
saying who the maker of the oud is... Also, all the pickups are about the same so if you were able to pick up one of Sukkar's for $500 and then
gutted the electronics, you'd still save $200...fernandraynaud - 10-9-2009 at 01:00 PM
There, Chris said it: it's expensive for a "cutout model". sebsayak - 10-11-2009 at 11:25 PM

thanks sam !Sazi - 10-12-2009 at 01:46 PM
I don't know either, but from the pictures, you can see the pre-amp controls on the Sandi, but there appears to be none on the Najarian... Maybe
you'd need to pay extra for a pre-amp? It may be worth asking about that.
Good lucksebsayak - 10-13-2009 at 12:34 AM
there told me there is a preamp fishman on najarian oud too;
but that's true ; there is no equilizer controls....

je vais vous raconter ma mésaventure
mais vais faire simple;
mais pas celui de Saadettin SANDI;
de plus ils ont toujours laissé la photo du oud de Sandi sur leur site;
afin de voler d'autres personnes; j'en suis sur...
je reste finalement toujours sans electric oud....
mais envisage d'aller directement en turquie; sur place;
au moins je n'aurais pas de mauvaise surprise ......Marcus - 11-3-2009 at 11:17 PM
Hello sebsayak
can you do your last post in english, please.
So we all can participate on your experiences.
Thanx

For some people it's easier in moments of stress to write in another language. Besides it concerns mainly French locals. Short version: Scotto Musique
in Marseilles promised him a Saadettin SANDI as shown but instead shipped him a very bad quality oud that was in addition quite beat-up. He had to
drive 200 miles to return the darned thing to the store. They are still showing the Sandi on their web site, and interested parties may wish to avoid
this merchant. Sebsayak says he's going to Turkey, no bad surprises at least if you are on site.
