I think it is not a professional oud. Maybe for beginner.

Any specific reason why you would say this is a beginner oud aytafun???
I thought fadel only made pro ouds, are you saying the oud is not pro model or not a original mohammed fadel oud? Im confused...

Sounds good, in my opinien.
P.s. My guess is that the buzzing we are hearing comes from the fact that the oud is NOT well tuned.
Good luck with the deal

Thanks Luttgutt
I agree, I think a good set of strings and some fine tuning would improve this oud. I also think it is far from being a beginners oud as aytayfun
suggested in his comment but it is always nice to see what others would make of it.
Oh and thanks for the sukar u2u...

Because I do not like plastics roses on the face. Second bigger ornaments on the face means small area of the original wood to resonate. It's just my
opinion. Simple elegance is favorite for me .

Aytayfun, I understand you like simple elegance,
from your comments Im not sure if you are aware of how mohammed fadel built his ouds and the fact that he is probably the most consistant and magical
oud maker in history (along with all due respect to the Nahat family too). If this oud was made by mohammed fadel then im not questioning the
craftsmanship.
So if you are attacking mohammed fadel, the man who has built a few different models of oud through the years and been consistant with producing them
to top pro standards than i will have to disagree. you can always look the guy up on youtube if you dont know who he is just look up fadel oud....
