1931 Abdo nahat and son oud
Hello everyone...this is a 1931 Abdo nahat and his son ....
Most likely that this oud was made by Elias , this oud is identical to the oud in the museum in Paris....
here is a video link were I am playing this oud....very short....but this is the sound of Elias Abdo nahat, using very old and cheap strings......I

Wow !! This is a mega oud, Adel !
The rose says it's Abdo Nahat & his sons, so is it in the sticker that Elias Abdo is actually the maker ?
Could you put some clear photos for this masterpiece ?
Is this oud for sale ?

I just really love your playing Adel. This video reminded me of listening to you play in Egypt.
You really deserve all those wonderful ouds, but you could probably even string a broom handle and make it sound like a Nahat.

Shukran Sadiqi Alfarabi.....it does not say on the ticket Elias...it sayd Abdo nahat and his sons.....but as I have few of these ouds and did see
many in the past.....I can tell if an oud is made by Abdo the master or by his son.....
Abdo was very clean ...perfect no mistake in his work.....Elias carried the tradition of making ouds like his father ... Abdo was a legend....
The oud is not for sale but you can enjoy the sound of it......best wishes ...

That was really something. I saw you a couple of years ago in the UK at the West End Centre in Aldershot, which is an odd town with a very good
hearted venue.
That oud sounds very strong.

These clips are really beautiful Adel...
The oud sounds great, but seems less bassy than older Nahats... maybe an effect of the old strings ? I'd really like to hear you on this oud live

This year I am working more on composing .... wanted to do less concerts .... but will be back soon....I have few projects on the way.....
