Huseyin aktel Ouds

Any experiences with the ouds of Huseiyin Aktel ? His ouds sound pretty nice, and seem well made but would like to have more detailed input on previous experiences if possible.
Thanks

I've owned an Aktel oud for about 2 years, and have been quite happy with it. The body is made of a combination of Indian Rosewood and Turkish Kilobek, which are very hard woods, so the oud had a farily loud and agressive tone. As it's aged in the last couple years, it's developed some beautiful overtones. My only issue with the oud is that the tuning pegs are very sensitive - they're often either to tight or too loose, and I'm often applying either soap or peg drops to them to get them to behave.

I use Aquila Nylgut strings on this oud, and prefer them because they allow for more control. I've tried Pyramids and DeAddario's but couldn't produce the same dynamic range on this oud as I can with the Aquilas.
