A couple of turkish pieces
Slightly new departure for me. They're both lovely pieces and I wish I could do a bit more justice to them.

Well done Dave. Nice music and nice playing. You have a good touch and I still remember your fine playing from our UK oud meets. These pieces are
rather long for the content , I think most people would struggle to keep the listener interested perhaps that is what you mean about 'doing them
justice'. This in mind ,you've done very well indeed. The pieces have passages that remind me of early renaissance music, almost plainsong style in
places, melancholy. Thanks for sharing them.
Best Wishes, Charlie

Hi Dave
Well I think you do yourself justice, you have really come on, particularly your tone has become more confident, your sense of microtones more
developed and there are really nice 'ornamentations' naturally played. Brilliant stuff.

Hi Charlie
I'm pretty good thanks - I'd like to come on the 3rd but it's still up in the air, but I'll do my best.
Cheers

Thanks all.
Mrkmni, it's an acemkurdi semai by Cevdet Cagla. Amos on these forums provided the score.
