Way cool, love it, mabruk, Philip, bravo! Tell us more. Where was this recorded? How did you get into this show? Who is the bass player, who have you
been studying with, etc ? You don't look nervous, I thought you came across very professional.

Thanks Tony!
Thanks Tony!
I Hope Chris can see this!
I've have been away for a long time in the forums. As u can see its been already almost a Year since I first sign up here. Im a Guitar Instructor here
in Dubai. My School Is Sing and sing Training Centre.
I teach Electric Guitar, Bass Guitar, Acoustic. Guitar Technician ....
I really like the Oud. And I keep Practicing Practicing untill my Hand Bleeds.
LOL
I tried to listen and listen to the recordings until I get Joseph Tawadros Feel and Im a Fan of Le Trio Joubran. They So amazing on this
Instrument.
Im Into a lot of music. On Jazz I play a bit of Avant garde freeform. then on Rock definetely blues that goes into the fusion side. then Metal was My
childhood Friend. I was a Great experience.
I went to Middle eastern music because I love the Dark Moody eclectic Vibe that it gives.
The Maurice oud was Great as you can see on the recording.
Its was Good!
It was recorded On Dubai Media City. Main Studio of MBC1 Middle East. so it was aired internationally to all gulf countries.
I got into the show because of my School. As You Check My Utube channel I played already in MBC1 but it was Electric Guitar So I dont have any problem
getting Nervous.
The Bass Player was Gabriel Matute. He's the Other Substitute teacher in the school.
So far No one. Since last year. I just Taught myself Maqamat. I have bought Oudproff DVD that one help me a bit for the Technique. But Primarily. I
have the Technique Already Because I play Guitar. And Im Trying to incorporate my style in this oud music.
That only thing I study a Lot is Maqamat. not just Playing the scale but I try to analyze and feel the right spaces when improvising,
I want to study in Beit al Oud here in Abu dhabi (naseer Shamma Oud School) But I have to travel 2hrs just to go there so 4hrs back and forth. there
was No Time especially when Im Working.
So its hard to Just Learn By yourself. but after ramadan I will try To contact Ghazi (dubai244) to get some Session Jamming.
Thanks. It really helps me be more motivated and enjoy music more!
Cheers
Philip

I notice you havent credited JT on the clips, it might be worth crediting him and how did you get his permission?
