Superb stuff!
As a guitar player who is about to take delivery of his very first ever oud next week, I look forward to playing my new possession in the manner
employed on the vid - though perhaps without the Pete Townshend-type destruction pyrotechnics!

Upon request, David kindly sent me 2 pics of the oud - an elegant-looking Michael Moussa piece with not too much decoration for my Western eyes.
I then e-mailed the pics to Mr. Moussa. He kindly confirmed that the instrument was made by him about 4 years back & bought by David; that the
instrument was a Munir Bashir-style Iraqi model with a back of rare "zebrano" wood and a floating bridge. He was courtesy itself.
I intend to take delivery of the piece on Friday 10 December. I'll let you know how this guitar-picker gets on.

Sounds sweet, i think i know the one your talking about. I've seen pictures before, its a lovely oud - I guess Christmas comes early for some! let us
