Can you guess the quality/maker of this oud?
Can anyone tell me roughly how good/what maker this oud is https://picasaweb.google.com/F.western.music/Oud# ?
I'm thinking about purchasing it but can't quite read the label inside. There's a photo of it. If you recognise what it is please could you tell me
what maker?

This oud is made by AHMED ABD ALHALIM in Egypt.

Hi Nasir,
Thanks for that. Found some info on Ahmed Abd Alhalim but nothing about this particular instrument. Either way, it's going to worth no more than
100$ or so.

Hi,
Now he makes oud in a place called THE OUD HOUSE.
Some of their ouds are good and some are not so good, it is hard to decide online,
unless you try the oud yourself.
Anyway if it is cheap, take a risk and buy it, in case you don't like it, you can resell it
and get your money back.
