Hi Majid. A lot has been said on this forum about these ratios. This is a complicated subject with a lot of opinions about what would be ideal
proportions. Here is a good link to get some of this info you seek. This is about an early lute which was close to the oud. A lot of these ratios are
used similarly on the oud.
