Frank Stadler will be performing with two other highly acclaimed and prize winning musicians, Hossam Mahmoud, and Jun Kanno. The concert will include
the world premiere of a new piece composed by Hossam Mahmoud, the performance of which will be dedicated to those who lost their lives in Tahrir

Hossam Mahmoud: Piece for violin, piano and oud (World Premiere)
Frank Stadler (violin) graduated from the Mozarteum University in Salzburg with distinction. Stadler is the founder of the Stadler Quartett, with
which he performs at the Salzburg Festival, and other venues worldwide. He has performed as Guest Concert Master by invitation of the Tokyo Symphony
Orchestra, the Camerata Salzburg, the Nürnberg Philharmonic and the Munich Chamber Orchestra. Stadler currently teaches a violin masterclass as the
University Mozarteum in Salzburg. He plays a violin by Bertrand Bellin, Offenburg.
Hossam Mahmoud (oud) was born in Cairo, where he studied oriental music, music education and traditional western music. He has also studied
composition in Graz and Salzburg, and he plays the arabic Lute (Oud), viola, and piano. Mahmoud has established himself as a freelance composer and
performer in Salzburg and his compositions have been played at renowned festivals as well as on stage in theaters. Mahmoud has been awarded several
prizes and he is focused on promoting dialog between music of diverse cultures.
Jun Kanno (piano) has played with orchestras from many countries around the world, including among others the Munich Symphony Orchestra, the National
Orchestra of Cracow, the Chamber Orchestra of Salzburg, the Japan Philharmonic, and the Korean National Orchestra. Kanno was a regular guest artist
with the Mozarteum Quartet of Salzburg, and performs regularly with the Vienna String Quartet; he has won prizes at several international
competitions. His recordings include works from Bach to Messiaen.

So I just got bak from the concert, the oud sounded great. Verrryyy arabic sound 7 course, the craftsmanship is very clean n simple. The sound was
beautiful, bassy just the way I like it.
I did take few recordings on my fone, hope the sound is good enough. Will upload soon
