Still for sale. Gorgeous sound.
Updated photo. If anyone is going to Simon Shaheen's Arabic Music Retreat in Mount Holyoke, you'll be able to play it first hand. Thanks.

It has such real punch on the bass. Actually sounds like a oud. How long did this take you to make? Would love more sound files.

Thanks. I worked hard on making sure that I followed a scheme which would give me that authentic old Arabic sound.. (which I believe to be hard to
find these days) I may make a video soon.
Since I made this modification (removing the extended fingerboard) and been playing it, its opened up A LOT since the recording, and its a much better
sound now. The recording is crappy always, and I can never tell personally if an oud is good by watching a video or listening to a recording. Try it
in person if you are close enough.
Bassam Saba played this instrument for the first time this Wednesday. He praised this instrument with very high regards, as well as Najib Shaheen, who
is hard to impress! Please contact any of these individuals for their personal recommendation regarding this oud.

How much is it? :-)
(I'm not sure about rules - if it is not ok to discuss such things here I apologise).

If Najib likes it, it must be a VERY VERY good oud because he is very picky about his ouds!!
