Barcelona
A wee bit off topic, but I'll be in the Barcelona area for the coming days, and I was wondering if anyone had some tips on interesting music shops, or
events concerning oud (shows, etc).
I know Arifa (Mehmet Polat) is playing there tonight but I will just miss that, as I'm going there tomorrow.
Thanks in advance for any pointers...

There is a reasonable CD shop just off the top end of the Ramblas: http://www.etnomusic.com/
The musical instrument museum (Museu de Musica, attached to the "Auditori" concert hall complex) is WONDERFUL. I have never seen anything like it, it
completely eclipses anything in the UK.
