Very interesting modulation in maqam Hijaz

I have been listening to a very nice piece in Hijaz called Negev Kadmoni from Yair Dalal's album Band Orient.
Here he modulates to what is basically Huzzam off the third note of Hijaz, (old intonation).
I thought this was a a particularly interesting and dramatic modulation. I will try to find other examples of this modulation in pieces and taqsim.
Is anyone familiar with this modulation?
I also found out that the original Huzzam was a terkib (sub-mode) that came off the third note of Hijaz (during a piece in Hijaz).
Also this movement is featured in the first bar of the Taslim of Samai Huzzam by Sharif Muhiddin Haydar in the Hijaz upper part of Huzzam.
Here is the modulation by Yair:

And the score for Samai Huzzam.
I have a transposed copy in my book, but it is not on my computer anymore unfortunately.
in case anyone doesn't know, the F# in the Turkish key signature is not Western F# is equivalent to the pitch Iraq / Awj (Bd in Arabic).
