Taqsim rast

Hi all. I just finished recording a taqsim in rast that I ended up liking so I decided I'd share it with you all. Comments and especially suggestions are welcome.

Sounds good to me, very true to faridian form! Which oud is this, what strings? It sure has a nice Egyptian slap while still shimmery and bright.

It's my Gamil Georges replica from Michael Moussa. After a few months its really beginning to open up- play close to the bridge and you have Farid circa 1962, play towards the center and you have Sunbati in those recordings where he was using a bigger oud.

Here's a quick taqsim while playing over the center to show the versatility of the oud:

If I remember right I was using Dadarios: .024, .030, .038, .030w, .034w and .041. I've since switched them out.
