Kurdili Hijazkar Seyir

Hello

this is a beautiful Semai on Kurdili Hijazkar makam composed by Vasilaki.
He also composed a very nice pesrev in the same makam.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j77jTly7Fdw&feature=results_video&playnext=1&list=PL97B0142FD4436791

My question is about some modulation or stop that the composition have in the 2nd and 3rd hana.

Both 3nd and 3rd Hanna end on the acem asiran note (ajam ushairan) but the phrase is using the note zirgule and not the dugah note . So I guess this isnt a modulation on acem asiran maqam .

If anyone knows it will be helpful

Hi.
This is a very good piece.
The modulation in the second hane is to makam Tarz-I Nevin.
The third hane reflects the Ussak (Arazbar) from Neva aspect.

Do you think it's Tarz-i Nevin on the 2nd hane ?
Because I thought the note dugah is without the flat
So in my mind the maqam in the modulation on the 2nd hane is:
(C)-D-Eb-F-Gb-A (for arabic notation)
(G)-A-Bb-C-Db-E (turkish notation)

I thought is Saba Zemzeme....

I send u2u my email to send you the sheet because I dont know hoe to upload the music sheet here.

Hi.
Listening to the piece, there seems to be a definite Hijaz off the fourth degree (C on the Turkish sheet). This is usually a reference to Tarz-I Nevin (from Kurdilihijazkar), the A (T notation) is temporally sharpened from Ab ascending but drops back to Ab descending.
The A also leads to jins Nikriz on Bb below Hijaz.

Here is my copy of the piece.

I think you are right about the modulation

There are some small differences on my copy , but that's not the point.
