HELP! iraki tradicional ensemble in europe???
Hey folks!
Does anybody know if there is any iraki traditional ensemble based in Europe, I´m looking to ensemble who plays maqam bagdhadi style...
also I would like to know if somebody knows if there are any singer, qanun, ney, or santur professional players from Irak based in Europe...

You could contact Prof Wesam Al-Azzawy in Brussels, one of Iraq's best santour players, he played in an Iraqi Maqam ensemble with Naseer Shamma a few
months ago in Brussels:

The band who played rencently with Naseer Shamma in Brussels and Antwerpen is 'Anwar AbuDragh Maqamat Ensemble'
Anwar AbuDragh is singer, djoze ans oud player. He lives in Brussels. And indeed the santour player of the band is Wesam AlAzzawy.
Anwar is my oud teacher since 5 years now.
