Bint El Shalabiyya - Seeking Farsi Lyrics

Does anyone have the Farsi (Persian) lyrics to "Bint El Shalabiyya?" I now have proof (not just hearsay from Iranian-American friends) that such a version exists: http://www.iranian.com/main/blog/payam-mim-6

Mamnoon in advance,
"Udi" John

Mmmmmmmm....

That oud player looks familiar, Marina. :))

OK...I think I've finally found them!

Here is a Persian version: http://www.ahangerooz.org/audio/Martik---Shaneh/2c459baae30eec1f2a1...
(Note Salsa style, which made me laugh at first, but reminded me that Fairouz' c.1962 version used a "rhumba" beat!)

Here is a link to the lyrics: http://www.iransong.com/song/2250.htm Do these look about right?

Todah/Mamnoon/Shukran,
John

Are these the typical Farsi lyrics?

well i feel responsible as an iranian member here :D
the story is that Pouran(persian female vocalist) and her husband make a trip to Lebanon. they buy some of Firouz records there and Pouran falls in love with the song. when she returns home, she askes Nasser Rastegar(poet) to help her make a persian version. they name it Shaane (the comb) and the songs becomes popular in iran. later she sang the song with Vigen(persian male singer).
here is the song sang by Pouran

here is the song sang by Pouran and Vigen(Anoushiravn Rohani(iranian famous pianist) is accompanying):

and here is a great performance by Rita Jahan Afrouz(Iranian-Israelian singer, i just love these two nations combine :D)
