Hello friends,
this year again our oriental music summer academy will happen again.
23.8.2012, 14 o'clock -- 26.8.2012, 17 o'clock
This year 5 lectures are offered:
Aoud ( oriental lute ) - Adel Salameh, Palestina/Lyon
Perkussion - Adel Shams El Din, Ägypten/Paris
Kanun - Gilbert Yammine, if there are enough participants
Ney - Mohamed Askari, if there are enough participants
oriental singing - Naziha Azzouz, if there are enough participants

Dear Friends,
please let me inform you that I could arrange another interesting concert during the this year soriental summer academy:
Mustafa Said – egyptian Oud-Virtuoso is one of the most melodical voice of the Tahrir place in the egyptian
revolution of 2011 – and the german tombak-player Joss Turnbull are presenting for the first time in germany
their program of classical arabic music and new sounds, combined with textes about resistance and freedom. The
actual situation in egypt inspires the musicions to new musician expressions. They are spreading out the sound
and effects of their instruments. The persian tombak will be played with different sticks and various plastic
films and the sound of the aoud is modulated by the unusual use of the rischa.

Hi all,
the 2nd Oriental Music Summer Academy Badenweiler is over. We had all togather a wonderful weekend. 23 students ( 16 for the oud ) took part and
