Greetings!
Hello everyone! I am new here and this is my first post. I am a flamenco guitarist who just really got obsessed with the sound of the oud. I hope to
learn more about the instrument and repertoire here.
Cheers!

Welcome Delamora,
I am a guitarist too, but I was always interested in Eastern music. I used to play the bouzouki, and some time ago I took the plunge and started
learning the oud. Little did I know! Completely different technique from guitar of course, but the musical universe that opens up is undescribable.
Here you'll find a lot of great people who are happy to share their experience and expertise, if you'll ever need any advice, as they did (and do)
when I needed it (and need).
Take care
Giorgio

Hello @ all...
I´ve been a Flamenco-guitarist too, for about 30 years, and also I was very influenced by eastern music in my way to play... seems logically, to get
on with Oud-playing... and building ! My passion is to make fine woodworking, and what elese is so near, than making my own oud(s).
Feel free to take a look at my page http://www.oud-werkstatt.de .
Would like to get some feedback :-)
Regards
Fritz
