Art and music

Hi everyone!
This is slightly off topic---but I find that music and visual art are really married---one informs and inspires the other.
I am primarily a visual artist by trade but I find the "improvisations" that take place on the oud help prepare my mind for creating art----all those fretless possibilities!

I'd be honored if you visited my webpage---my most recent work explores landscapes from Turkey (a beautiful country!).
Thanks!

Anyone else a visual artist and musician? How does the oud influence/inspire your art?

Wow, excellent paintings,
I'm no art critic, but I studied history of Art for 8 years (secondary school and Baccalaureat studies) and I can recognise a few styles. It was a long time ago, unfortunately :( ....I was impresses by the building studies but I really liked the painting on the top of the page, which reminds me of Henri Toulouse-Lautrec. That's just my impression, but I hope you won't want to shoot me after reading this :)) . Very talented! Works well worthy of appreciation...
