Anouar Brahem and Mehdi Haddab rishas?
Does anybody know what rishas does those two awesome players use?
Or what kind of rishas any other great player uses, just to know : )
Another question: I have cow horn and turtle rishas, but I get a scratchy sound when I play with them on the wound strings. How can I avoid that?
Thanks a lot!!

Hi,
Anouar Brahem uses soft plastic rishas ... the shape of his rishas is close to the "pyramid" ones.
Best,
Juju.

Hi luan
have you ever tried to make a risha yourself?
I usually play with horn rishas, because I need to play loud, mostly.
If there is no need to be loud, I prefer either pyramids or my "homemade" ones.
When I was searching for the right one for me, no shampoo bottle was trown away before I cut out a piece for a risha. The result is, that I have lots
of rishis which produce many different sounds, and a few of them are nearly perfect.
Try it out!!
Best, Marcus
