I am a beginner on oud (but an older retired academic and writer/researcher) who is very fascinated with Turkish music and oud in particular. Right
now I am living near Abu Dhabi and will be travelling to Turkey (Istanboul and Konya) during Eid. If you know of any contacts in either place, people
who would be willing to play/tell their musical story on record, I would love to hear about them. Apart from playing I want to do some recording and
