Great idea! I didn't recognise all the players, only Simon Shaheen and Munir Basheer, but my knowledge of world oud players is not great at present. It would be better if you did a v3 and overlaid the numbers onto each square. Either way, it's great to have an oud-related game, there should be more of these.

I get as far as Qassabji with what appears to be the current high score of 5812 but so far I've never seen Farid or Udi Who.

The musicians are listed in order . . . Farid comes after Qassabji and mystery udi only shows up if you win (get to the highest tile, 2048 in the original game)

I revisit this from time, hoping to discover the mystery oudist. Last time I got pretty close with a score 19356. But today several of the tiles have no oudists on them. They're blank! No Qassabji or Johar. Any way to restore these? thanks.

Yes, my inquiry was intended for Brian. Today Abadi al Johar has returned. but Qassabji is a solid yellow tile.

Qassabji has returned! Try using the down arrow as little as possible or not at all. The down arrow seems to bring the game to an end sooner. I can quickly get one Farido (but not yet two) by using left, right, and up and concentrating on the tiles with lower numeric values.

Yeah, I didn't design the engine and sometimes it seems to have trouble with the images. Sorry!

Spoiler....

2048 is Sounbati

Maybe I'll see him someday. My high score is 19356. Getting close. I'll play a round or two for a few days in a row, then return some weeks later. It's fun. Thanks.

I just did it and they all worked except sounbati. There must be some glitch in the way it fetches images sometimes.
