Looking for a bouzouq!!
Hello guys!
I was thinking to get an arabic bouzouq and I have few questions.
In videos I saw two different versions: one with 2 choirs of strings (each of them with 3 or 4 strings), and another type with 3 choirs of strings. Is
one of them more traditional than the other or it's just a matter of taste?
What about the tuning?
Where can I get one? Is i tpossible to get one for less than 1000 dollars?
Thank you very much for your attention!

A player can usually make a choice on one buzuk whether to have (for instance) 2 courses of 3 strings each, or 3 courses of 2 strings each, or simply
have 2 courses of 2 strings each and not use one set of notches on the bridge, and nut and leave 2 tuning pegs unused.
Tuning varies but it is usual for the lowest course to be in octaves and the highest course to be in unison.
Two course buzuk can be gG cc for instance. Or Gg cc.
