Hi Teslim,

You can find that, and many other good Arabic music scores, on the Ah Ya Salam site: http://www.ahyasalam.com/play_song.php?songmd=bf106127c6e13bd37394d...

All the best,
"Udi" John

The chart posted by Abou Sammy is the same as that on Ah Ya Salam ("Tarak").

Hi Navid,

The Ah Ya Salam site is the best of the best for Arabic music, with recordings, song info, etc., as well as music sheets. I found a few other sites while trolling the web for Arabic music sheets, for example: http://abdennegi.blogspot.com/2012/01/blog-post_165.html

Do you know any good sites for Persian music sheets?

Peace out,
"Udi" John

One of the reasons I love playing Middle Eastern music is its improvisational nature. You can find more than one transcription of a well-known song, and each will be different. Not only do different musicians play the song differently, but different listeners HEAR it differently as well. The same way that I never cook a new dish using only one recipe--I always look up several and take the best ideas from each--I like whenever possible to have many transcriptions of the same song, to see what is different in each. I even occasionally try to find transcriptions of songs I have already learned by ear to see if there is anything I've missed or to pick up new ideas for ornamentation.
