Tuned: F-C-cc-F A-C-D-G with 80lb test/ 150lb test fishing line for strings
I was influenced by the oud in that I cut the frets off this renaissance lute a couple of years ago...this clip is from that time:

besides just wanting to share my tunes I'm also curious if any oud makers/players added frets in recent years just to experiment.
