My New Band, "Safra," Performing in Berkeley, CA - Sun., Sept. 7, 2014

Greetings Fellow Oud Addicts:

I just wanted to give a shout out to San Francisco Bay Area Forum members that my new band, "Safra," will be performing at Ashkenaz Music & Dance Community Center in Berkeley, at 7:30 PM. We will be joined by our talented friend, Moroccan multi-instrumentalist Bouchaib Abdelhadi, who will be playing violin (mostly), as well as oud and percussion, and doing a bit of singing. Our performance will be preceded by a Middle Eastern dance lesson with Bruce Bierman.

Here is our lineup:

Eliana Kissner: Lead vocals
John Erlich: Oud
Debbie Fier: Percussion
Susanna Goldenstein: Percussion

Special guest: Bouchaib Abdelhadi (Violin, oud, percussion)
