Oud label translation
Long time reader, first time poster. I just bought my first oud, and I am having some trouble finding a translation for the label. I'm pretty sure it
is just a beginner oud, but I would like to know what I am playing. I appreciate any help.
Thanks!

Thanks for the info! It looks like another oud forum user picked up a different one a couple years ago, and this is the information that was posted
for it:
"The "Rosette" says "Oud Adany" (Adan is a Yemeni city) while the label states as follows:
"Safwat Badr
Musical Instruments Manufacturer
2 Lateef st. Al Yakaneya Al Qadeema
(Old Yakaneya is a quarter of Cairo, Egypt)
Tel : 25141392 Mobile : 0101806634"
Sorry ! I haven't heard of him before."
The nut is currently only set up for 5 courses without enough room for a couple more grooves, so I am waiting on a 6-course bone nut to come it. Can't
wait to get started.
