Shedd-i Araban Samaei
I am learning a new piece with this transcribed title. The author, Turkish I presume is listed as Gugsel Baktrager. I haven't been able to find any
info on him and only a bit on this maqam. I wonder if anyone else can tell me about it?

Hi Paul,
The correct spelling is "Göksel Baktagir". Make a search and you'll find a lot.
Göksel Baktagir is a famous Turkish Kanun player and also a very talented composer.
I don't know of a Şedd-i Araban saz semaisi of Baktagir. Do you have the partition ? Could you post it here ?
