Pick up lessons in Istanbul?
I hope to have the luxury of a week or so in Turkey (Istanbul or ...?) at the end of August, inshallah, and I would love, really love, to get some
training/teaching in the Turkish style.
I have been studying in Abu Dhabi for about a year and a half mostly Arabic style and am probably an advanced beginner.
I welcome any suggestions and leads....

Seriously, the ultimate teacher in Istanbul is, for me, Yurdal Tokcan.
I meet him on a workshop in germany about 2 years ago. I ask him if he is willing to give me a few lessons when I go to pick up my Veysel Saricus oud
in Istanbul, and he says it would be a pleasure for him.
Unfortunately i had only 1 1/2 days in Stanbul,to short to meet him.
He is a very friendly and easy guy. For sure its lot of fun to get lessons from him, no matter if you are beginner or advanced player.
I could not find a homepage or so, but he have a
twitter-acount
I wish you a great,succesful time in Turkey / Istanbul, even if I`m a bit jealous
