Naseer Shamma and the risha

I have been following the discussions of risha with great avidity--since I find it the most challenging step in Oud progression (so far!).
I offer in that light this wonderful new performance of Mr. Naseer's beautiful "A world without fear' since it shows off very closely his fluid risha.

I would love to hear some insightful comments on this style of risha

His technique is fabulous ofcourse, but the way he holds the risha seems pretty standard?
