Update on Ibrahim Sukar

I just wanted to know that i spoke with Ustaaz Ibrahim Sukar again tonight (in Arabic via FB chat as he was able to get a brief signal). He is still near the Turkish border with his family waiting to get official permission to enter Turkey, but says it is proving very difficult to get the paperwork he needs. He reports that Russian airstrikes are still heavy; he is says he is praying for his safe passage with his family to Turkey where he hopes to resume making ouds and other instruments. Just passing this along for non-Arabic speakers or those that may not be connected with him. In his usual gracious fashion he passed along his best wishes to me and his hope for the best for everyone.

Thank you for the update! I think of him often in all the destruction there.
Best wishes and prayers from California, Americans are not all crazy.

I hope he can get out of the danger zone, what a disaster.
