FS: Turkish Oud with Bone Pegs + Nut. Rosettes are carved from soundboard + Hardcase

For sale is this Turkish oud from Ankara made by Saedettin Sandi in 2006. The wood has had a generous time to age and it has a suprisingly deep bass for a Turkish oud, clear open sound.

It is a one of a kind version of the VMIU-50 sold by Cankaya Music, the rosettes are carved from the soundboard by hand, amazing craftsmanship. Bowl is walnut and mahogany (23 ribs). New set of black bone tuning pegs (streaks of white still visible, not dyed). Extended ebony fingerboard, unbleached bone nut. Scale is 58.5 cm. Checkered inlay around the soundboard and on the back of the neck. Nicely aged spruce top.
