quilted maple oud
I haven't posted some project pictures in a very long time.
I would like to share with you guys an update on my latest project. I just recently completed the bowl from a billet of quilted maple harvested in
British Columbia. Hope you guys enjoy it. I will be posting pictures as it progresses.
It will have many intricate inlays in the Classical Syrian Nahat style of oud making.
thanks.

Lovely work Samir. Are you making bowl on neck and tail block frame rather than mould?

Thank you Kelly. I started it on a regular mold but then I realized the bulk heads were getting in the way so I switched it to just a tail and neck
block. That was about 10 ribs in...
