What are your Playing? Share your Vocaroo!
Hi All,
I know some know of this free online recording program but i thought it was a quick neat way to share our OUD sounds.
This website is free and you can use your PC to record the OUD and upload a clip for others to hear. It is not the best quality, but these are not for
recording purposes, but for having fun while practicing.
Here is a quick clip i noodled out to show:

Post yours as well below!!
Thx.

Thanx Charlie!
I thought it would be an interesting place to post things we may be working on or whatever. For example, I am currently hooked on this little 'ditty'
by yasamin shahhosseini called 'zarbi in dashti' off her Gahan album. I really dig this style. I will try to post a little bit of what i am attempting
once i get somewhat better at it. Here it is on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ross1AQbqJw
Just little bits and pieces at a time for me...this stuff is complicated compared to guitar and my memory is not as good as when younger. I am using an extension in chrome called transpose/pitch/loop which slows the video down
bigtime, and i play slow!
I hope others can try and post. I like to see what others are trying and to try it myself as well! Cheers.
ps: I agree to what you say about the quality not being bad. If one wishes, they can download their mp3 and clean in audacity and it would sound
amazing actually (all freeware!). I give huge accolades to whoever made that website!

We lost(put down due to illness) our beautiful dog 2 weeks ago and I have been very off since.
This original sad song was written when I was in a sad mood. Hope you like it for what it is....Sorry it is a sad piece, but I hope to make more happy
tunes soon.
Cheers

ps: apparently vocaroo records silence when you stop playing so that is why it sounds to drop out sometimes....

I am finding vocaroo to be very subpar in recording quality, or my microphone on the laptop is bad, one or the other...
regardless, this is my attempt at some Hamza El Din!, Here is some Water Wheel
Hope you like it...
