I'm wondering if anyone had the opportunity to play on an oud made with ovangkol wood. In guitars it seems like they create a sound similar to
rosewood. I like the sound of rosewood oud, and was wondering if ovangkol is any different.
I read that ibrahim sukkar from Aleppo used it in the high end ouds he sold.
