Nouman Ibrahim Rahba - information needed about the luthier
Dear Oud fellows,
As you are all aware, some of the greatest oudmakers from the
past build fantastic ouds and they had some '' secrets'' that they did not share with their apprentices, and were burried with them.
Unfortunately their production was scarce and they made few ouds, at least the ouds survivng now.
We know few about their ouds, and fewer about their biography, which is my topic today,
I am focusing on the old Egyptian oudmakers (late 1800,s to early 1900,s)
I am contributing in a research on these luthiers, and i would appreciate your contribution,
In this topic i would be talking about the famous Rahba
Does any one have information about a luthier named Numan Ibrahim Rahba عنمان
ابراهيم راهبة ?
I would be very greatefull if the experts (and im sure that there are some experts here  could provide me with any information about this maker, .etc . Where has he learned making ouds, when has he started building, and is
there any pictures of his surviving ouds ?
Lets try to save this heritage !
