advice in choosing a rast song for an animation
hello dear music lovers,
i have recently been working on an animation project and am looking for a music to complement the visuals. Episode 2 follows Shamshoom (a toddler who
was just born) as he is discovering with delight nature, colours and sounds. I am therefore looking for a joyfully rythmic melody/song to play. i
thought a rast melody would be great, but maybe a ajam or sikka melody which is particularly fresh could do the trick. any thoughts or suggestions?
many thanks in advance for your help!

i am now thinking about this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4AVkHXsEpjY ahla bi hal talleh ahla by sabah
for reference, this is episode 1 which was only recently completed, and which in contrast to the rast/joyful mood of episode 2, is more gloomy and in
a saba mood. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VaeNNQt2ezk. Unfortunately i can't show episode 2 as it is customary in animation to establish the audio first,
and than to animate the visuals to match it.

There's also Maqam Bashiri from Munir Bashirs album Maqamat. It's the first track and sounds very happy/peaceful/joyful!

Hi Onglon,
I put many links to pieces of music that I used in my book in one place, which you can see in the free HTML preview. Out of these, I suggest the
pieces by Delibes or Gazi Giray Han, but you might find another one in the list that suits you better.
I also wrote a piece for my niece few years ago when she was two or three that you might like. I did not use it in the book but you can find it in the
compositions folder in the second link below. If you like it you can just use it. I only have midi output but it will sound a lot better if recorded
of course depending on your time and budget.
These are the links. Let me know if you have any access problems.
