My Old Oud
Hi All,
I was recently visiting back home and stumbled upon the first Oud I ever bought which was more than 5 years ago. I remember I never liked this Oud, it
was giving me so much grief to play, it would never stay in tune, did not like its sound at all. But after coming back to it after all these years I
actually fell in love with its sound and how it plays. I would like to share a clip of me fooling around on it. Tell me what you think of its sound
and whether you had any similar experiences with your old Ouds.

Your old oud has a lot of punch and projection. The trebles *sing* too. Good thing you kept it.
I had an oud early on that I now sometimes wish I had kept. I did not know enough to recognize its virtues.
