This is a fantastic sounding oud made by renowned luthier Ebrahim Sukar from Aleppo, Syria. The oud plays very well and has a deep, punchy, classic
Arabic sound. Tuning holds stable. I've included a Youtube link to a clip of me playing, recorded using a proper microphone for an accurate representation of the tone. You won't find a truer Arabic
sound at this price.
These instruments are especially hard to get a hold of in the UK due to import restrictions, so this is a really good deal.
Specifications: Cedar top, Walnut/Sycamore Bowl, Sycamore fingerboard, Olivewood tuning pegs, 60cm scale length, fitted with Aquilla nylgut strings,
tuned FADGC.
